The Senior Assistance Center works with many other organizations to help Seniors obtain the help they need.

		United Stated Department of Agriculture - Food and Nutrition Service http://www.fns.usda.gov/fdd/default.htm Our mission is to strengthen the nutrition safety net through commodity distribution and other nutrition assistance to low-income families, emergency feeding programs, Indian Reservations, and the elderly.

		Colorado Department of Human Services http://www.colorado.gov/cs/Satellite/CDHS-Main/CBON/1251575083520 CDHS assists struggling Colorado families who need food, cash, and energy assistance to provide for their families; families in need of safe and affordable child care; children at risk of abuse or neglect; families who struggle to provide care for their adult children with developmental disabilities; youth who have violated the law and need structure and guidance to grow into responsible and compassionate adults; Coloradoans who need effective treatment for mental illness or substance abuse issues; and families who need resources to care for their elderly parents or nursing home care for their veteran parents.

		Denver Regional Council of Governments http://www.drcog.org/ The Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) serves as the region's Area Agency on Aging, planning and coordinating a continuum of services available to older adults living in the Denver metro area.

		Energy Outreach Colorado http://www.energyoutreach.org/NewSite/default.asp Provides energy assistance to limited income households and for energy efficiency upgrades for affordable housing and nonprofit facilities.

		Food Bank of the Rockies http://www.foodbankrockies.org FBR distributed over 26 million pounds of food to member agencies 1100 hunger-relief programs, enough to provide more than 56,000 meals each day to children, seniors and families in need. FBR is a member of Feeding America.

		Seniors Inc http://www.seniorsinc.org Seniors Inc. was founded in 1969 with a mission dedicated to promoting independence, offering support, providing home care, encouraging growth, and enhancing the quality of life as we age.

		Seniors' Resource Center http://www.srcaging.org Seniors' Resource Center is a community partner providing person-focused, coordinated services to enhance independence, dignity and quality of life for seniors. These services include intensive Transportation, Adult Day & Respite Services, In-Home Care Services, mental health outreach, Job Training Services, Volunteer opportunities and Care Management Services.

		Senior Support Center http://www.seniorsupportservices.org Our mission is to make each day better and safer for Denver's homeless and hungry seniors by providing the resources and support they need to lead more self-sufficient and fulfilling lives.
